“And you will stand on windswept beaches…”

Five Sons. Five Fathers. One Hour. No safety net.

Windswept Beaches turns Owen Booth’s short story into a high-stakes theatrical event. Scaffolded above the stage, the Fathers go to work reading the script into microphones, line by line, feeding every word directly into their Son’s earpieces. None of them have ever performed this show before. The Sons must speak the words they hear. They must complete the tasks they’re given. All live in front of the audience. The result is an unforgettable experiment in raw vulnerability.

Part training, part competition, part litany, Windswept Beaches pulls apart the story of a life in the search for what else could be possible: after, or on the other side, once we’ve exhausted all resistance.
